This large column of glass is constructed from hundreds of handmade elements, meticulously colour sequenced, precision drilled and thread to create a 3-dimensional ceiling hung sculpture.

 

Self-taught knotting techniques allow the glass elements to be assembled with an interlocking pattern, this weaves the colour with mesmerising affect.The 594 sections of handmade glass are not static, instead gradually moving to constantly catch and reflect the light adding endless possibilities to the composition.
